Adele

Adkins was raised by a single mother in several working-class areas of London. She loved to sing contemporary pop music as a child , and was capable of playing the clarinet and guitar. It wasn't until she was in her teens when she was introduced to Etta James, a blues and rhythm singer, as well as other performers from the early 20th century and she began to consider about a career in the field of music. As she worked on her skills at a school that was funded by the government for the performing arts an acquaintance began uploading songs Adkins composed and recorded on the social network site Myspace. Her music eventually attracted the attention of recording companies and, in 2006, shortly after her graduation, she signed a contract with XL Recordings.
