Keesha Sharp
The film of Tyler Perry Why Did I Get Married includes her. Perry, Janet Jackson and the indie film Frozen Peas are all starring in the film alongside her. Additional film credits for her include The 636 (for which she received the award for Best Actress in 2014's NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, and American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha when she graduated. in the Conservatory, Keesha set her eyes on the stage. She appeared in an upcoming Broadway National Tour of Carousel and also debuted Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Also, she performed eight roles in the comedic Eat the Runt. Keesha played a part in Abyssinia and Aida and Thunder Knockin' and Jitney. Other performances included Big Street, Suburb, The Producers and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Keesha also read the play with August Wilson. As well as her performance in the stage and screen, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" as well as the short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is involved in several projects she's currently working on, such as Clean The Brit & Broken Doll. Keesha has been working on an album full-length to display her voice following the success of "Santa Baby".
